Case summary
In the Month of October there is ritual (Gargala)to be ordered in the village by all the people. They make a wish to see the Goddess. while the procession began Dalits had no opportunity to see the goddess since BC community people were infront of thye goddess. Dalits asked them to move from infront. On listening to their arguements they beat the Dalits thouroughly using abusive words in the name of the caste. The culprits who beat the were P.Samba SIvas Rao Sarpanch of the village.He provoked the BC community peoplet to chase away the Dalits from the spot. They filed a case on the culprits who hurt themduring the festival. Now the victims are feeling insecure to move onto the roads because of the culprits.
