Case summary
Mr. Arjun Pawan(35) , S/o Mr. Durga Paswan . He was living at village - Khajuriya , Po- Bahadurpur , PS- Govindganj , District - Eastchamparan in state of Bihar . He belongs to SC (Dusadh) Community . He was a strog Dalit youth leader . So Dominant caste people did not like him .
Arjun Paswan a Dalit victim was brutally murdered in a market by the dominant accused Mr. Rahul Thakur S/o Bachha Thakur and 5 others from village Khajuria under Govindpur Police Station, East Champaran Mr. Arjun was shot dead as he worked for the betterment of Dalit Communities in the village. Very oten hye proactively helped other Dalits who sought for hgis help. Conspiringly, the accused had called late Arjun to the market place and allegedly shot him to death. FIR for the same has registered and Section 3(i)X & 3(2)V SC&ST (PoA) Act, 1989 has been invoked.
The main Accused Mr. Rahul Thakur has been arrested and five others are yet to be arrested.
