On 6th June 2013, one Dalit Activist Dr. Nana More working with NDMJ has been falsely implicated in false counter case by Rabale MIDC police for filing atrocity complaint against one NCP Corportor Navin Gawate. Instead of registering FIR against Navin Gavate the Rabale MIDC police arrested Dalit activist for false and manipulated charges of destruction of vehicle by fire. He as produced before JMFC court at Belapur, Navi Mumbai and court granted 5 days Police Remand (6th to 11th June 2013). But no action on the atrocity complaint against perpetrator Navin Gavate.

The perpetrator is coporator (Nagar Sevak) of Navi Mumbai Muncipal corporation from National Congress Party and holding political influence in the Digha area. Apart from this, the complainant is having criminal background and many criminal cases are registered against him. But the important thing which could be noted in all the cases registered against him is that he has nevertheless arrested in any case as either he got anticipatory bail or shown as absconding on police record. It shows the influence of the complainant to manipulate the false case against the applicant. 

To avoid the legal action on him by the police, perpetrator Navin Gavte manupulated fire incident through his party workers (CC TV Footage is available )and false FIR lodge against the Dalit Activist Dr. Nana More.

In fact, on 22nd May 2013, Dr. Nana More\'s house was demolished in Digha-Thane illegally without following the due law process and with feudalistic purpose with the help of some NCP corporator Navin Gavate. The house was purchased by Dalit Activist Dr. Nana More in the year 2011, the corporator was demanding exportation money for purchase of said house n his area but the Dalit Activist Dr. Nana More denied to fulfill his illegal demand therefore the said corporator is harassing dalit activist on various count and the police and other authorities are also supporting him for which one case under SC/ST (PoA) Act, 1989 is registered at Digha-Rabale MIDC Police Station in the year 2012.

On 22nd May 2013 his house is demolished without giving him any notice by the MIDC authority saying its illegal construction, where as many (atound 3000) similar houses are there surrounding his house but they are not demolished as they satisfied the illegal demand of said corporator. The police also denied to register FIR.

The written complaint is given to MIDC Police Station, and copy forwarded to Commissioner of Police, Navi Mumbai on 24th May 2013.

Since police kept it under inquiry and no action is taken against the accused Navin Gavate, the deligation of NDMJ visited Commissioner of Police, Navi Mumbai office on 5th June 2013, and met with Dy.CP Mr. Fattesing Patil, but his response was not proper and accused Navin Gavate also visited him at the same time. So we got confused that whether the police is managed or what?

Therefore we met with CP Mr. Sharma and discussed with him that some police supporting the accused Navin Gavate and therefore he his doing many illegal activities and harassing the poor people, he assured to take immidiate action withing 72 hours.

But , on 6th June 2013, early morning Police called Dalit Activist Dr.Nana More and arrested him in false case of destroying vehicles by fire of Navin Gawate.

On Dated 20/3/2011, during Holi Festival, people from Dalit community were attacked by a group of people when they were sitting at the road side of thier village.

Smt. Mudippi Eshwaramma, W/o Anjaiah, age 37, caste SC (Madiga), Occupation- Labour, R/o Golla Gudem, H/o Tadi[arthy Village, Yacharam Mandal, RR district stated that in the year of 1995, they built a house in Gollagudem and are living in it. Adjescent to their house one Mr. Neelam Kristaiah\'s family is residing, he along with his wife Kalamma used to harass her and her family members by abusing them in the name of caste by uttering words.

The incident is of Jakheda village which is in Unna district. This village is situated 15km far from the district head quarter. In the village 200 Chamar family, 4 Julah families, 75 balmiki family, 700 brahmin family and 1 Rajput family are staying.

Bariyum Singh, age-65, stays in the village and belongs to schedule caste (Chamar). On May 12, 2013, Nephew of Bariyum Singh was getting married. The procession of bridegroom had gone to Behdala village, Mangat Ram alias Sonu  a Brahmin was also with the bridegroom, who was invited by the groom and is also from the same village Jakheda. During the ceremony Bariyum Singh’s Son in law Rajinder Kumar (35) was sleeping because of fever in the guest house given to the bridegroom. Mangat Singh and his two friends came and started abusing and beating Rajinder Kumar with a chair. When Bariyum Singh and his son Somnath(30) reached there, somnath asked why you are beating him; Mangat punched him on face and abused them in the name of caste. He also threatened to kill them and went from there.

While the bridegroom was returning from Behdala around 8.15pm, Bariyum Singh and his family were coming in a Scorpio. In the vehicle, Bariyum Singh, his two daughters Kamla and Santosh Kumari, and his son in law Rajinder , his son Somnath and Somnath’s wife Amanpreet Kaur, was coming. Bariyum Singh was sitting beside the driver. On the way Mangat Ram and 7-8 of his friends tried to stop the vehicle, they were with Iron rod, and heavy stick. When the driver asked why you are trying to stop the vehicle, Mangat Ram tried to open the window of the vehicle forcibly. Mangat Ram was wearing Iron grip in his finger he punched with that on Bariyum Singh’s nose and it started bleeding seriously. Mangat Ram and his friends started breaking the vehicle with iron rod. When Somnath and Rajinder got out of the Vehicle, one of them hit Somnath on head with an iron rod, his head cracked and he started bleeding. When Amanpreet Kaur went to save her husband Somnath, Mangat Ram started hurting her too, he slapped her and took out her sari and she was only with blouse and petticoat. They also started beating the sick Rajinder.  By the time there came the Bridegrooms bus so they ran away from the place they took Amanpreet’s purse where she had kept her mobile and some money. But when they were running away some people from the bridegroom side could catch hold one among the accused group, his name is Punit Kumar. They took punit and went to Mahatpur PS and filed the FIR. Then they were sent to district hospital Unna for treatment.
