Case summary
Suraj Jatav, a Dalit farmer and resident of village Chidwai, came to know that some men from sand mafia were destroying his millet crop. He rushed to his agriculture farm and was shocked to find that a JCB machine was being used to make a road across the farm. After seeing this, he ran towards his village to inform the Sarpanch and other villagers. The goons chased him and stopped him. One of the goon namely Hakam alias Rukka, attacked Suraj with the JCB\'s arm. They then fled the spot. Some villgers spotted Suraj lying on the ground and rushed him to a hospital where he was declared dead.
