Case brief
Case summary
On dated 06/01/2020, there was an assault on the pardhi (ST) community person Manoj Prakash Kale and his wife Kamal by one accused Dada Haribhau Gunnar for taking illegal possession of land. This fact is informed on phone to one social activist working on Pardhi community named Rajendra Kale belonging to same Pardhi (ST) Community. When the DHRD Rajendra Kale went to lodge the compllaint to Daund Police Station the PI Sunil Mahadik denied to register the complaint and abused on caste. Thereafter the victim Kamal Manoj Kale given the written complaint to PI with the photo of head injuries and other evidences. Daund Police avoided the registration of FIR.
The Kusum Rajendra Kale is also social activist and she took the followup of the case and on dated 01/02/2020 she went to the Daund PS, but the accused PI Sunil Mahadik abused the Activist Kusum Kale and directed the 4 male constable to assault her and they accordingly assaulted and humiliated the activist in public outside the Police Station.
Thereafter she reported the same to the higher officer but they also not taken any action so she filed the private complaint case in court and the court directed on 28/01/2021 for ireport after nvestigation and accordingly the FIR is registered against the PI Sunil Mahadik and Maruti Hirve (Constable) and 4 other constables.
