Mota Nayna is a village situated at the distance of 15 K.M away from taluka place Patan. The village consist 350 houses. There are families of Thakor, Rabari, Raval, Nathi, Rohit, Valmiki etc communities, out of that Rohit and Valmiki are considered as schedule caste. Thakor community is dominating over other castes. There are around 30 families of Dalits community. 80% of Dalits are involved in farm labour work. Dalits are not getting proper wages from Thakor.
On 23/05/2007, in the night when the victim was sleeping outside the house with her family members, the main accused Thakor Kaluji Kannjibha and two other unknown persons came there and they took her, she could not shout as her mouth was closed with cloth by the accused. Thereafter, they took her on the terrace of primary school and raped her. When the family members of the victim did not find her in the coat they started searching. When the accused felt that he would be caught, hence, they left victim there and ran away.
She was frightened, finally they found her and took her to home and next day they went to Vagdod out police station and registered FIR against all the accused.
Case in Brief
Ramana, aged 12 years was brought from Mantada by Prameela for working in her house as domestic child labour in the month of March 2007. Prameela and her mother harassed her from the day of employment. The situation became worse with the entry of Prameela’s sister Prasanna lakshmi. Prameela, Prasanna and their mother beat up Ramana black and blur and Ramana was seriously injured. They did not allow her to go to her parents. Ramana escaped on 21st May 2007 and approached Kukatpally PS with the help of local people. Case is registered u/s 343, 324 of IPC and u/s 3 r/w 14 of Child Rights (P&R)Act. Prasanna and her mother are arrested. Prameela is absconding. Whereabouts of victim\\\'s parents not traced.
Vijaykumar S. Londhe is r/o Malegaon village, Tal. Barsi in Solapur Dist. belongs to Chambhar (SC) community. Earlier the victim made complaint in the police station against the perpetrator, who misbehaved with his daughter. The perpetrator and villagers were forcing victim to withdraw the complaint and on refusal, the perpetrator abused victim on his caste name & threatened him to kill if he does not withdraw the case.
A case was registered in Barsi police station on 24/05/2007, as No.71/07, u/s 147/ 148/149/504/506 IPC & 3(1)(x),(vi) of SC/ST (PoA) Act. Accused was arrested and bailed out.
Charge sheet filed on 08/06/2007, No. 40/07, u/s 504/506 IPC & 3(1)(x),(vi) of SC/ST (PoA) Act. Case is under trial. The victim has not received any compensation from administration.

Guddenolla Jangamma, aged 31 years, D/o Lakshmayya, R/o Chevella, SC Madiga by caste resides with her father. She got married to Rajayya, SC Madiga by caste of vurella village and got divorced. She had two brothers and one sister (Who died of Jaundice 3 years ago). Her brothers live separately. Since five years Jangamma had extra-marital relation with Subrahmanyam, BC Mudiraj by caste, occ: sweet vendor. Few days before the fateful incident, Jangamma had differences with her elder brother Venkatayya (36). Jangamma and Venkatayya quarreled on the day she was murdered. Subrahmanyam doubted that she had extra-marital relations with other men and that is the reason she is not obeying his wishes.
