ATTACK ON DALITHS AND SOCIAL BOYCOTT @ YERUKONDA VILLAGE PUSAPATIREGA MANDAL -VIZIANAGARAM

    Occurred on 12.03.2018 at about from 17.30 Hours at Pusapatirega Junction and reported on
    13.03.2018 at 14.00 Hours where in the complainant Bura Santosh S/o Suryanrayana, Age-25
    Years, SC-Mala by Caste, Auto driver, SC-Colony, Yerukonda Village, Pusapatirega Mandal stated
    that he is living by running auto and on 12.03.2018 at about 17.30 to 18.00 Hours while he is
    waiting for passengers at Pusapatirega Junction in which Gorle Satyamamma and Tadi Pydiraju were
    got up his auto and kept one bag at back side of the his auto and he tried to exist the bag in which
    Gorle Satyamamma abused him by using his caste i.e Mala Lanja Kodaka and her son in law Tadi
    Pydiraju caught hold his shirt coller and beat him by fell down on the ground and the satyamamma
    kicked him. They informed that same and he reached at Yerukonda School Building at about 18.30
    Hours Gorle Srinu stopped his auto and beat him as he ran away to his colony and while he
    suffering with pain on his chest due Gorle Srinu beat him and while he along with his Uncle Nikki
    Ramu, Brother in law Sontyana Sive and Wife Ravanamma while going to Government Hospital,
    Vizianagaram by his auto in which Gorle Srinu, Alti Srinu, Gorle Nagaraju, Ijjurotu Nagaraju, Gorle
    Ramulu, Chintapalli Ramulu and some other were beat them with sticks and stones and Gorle
    Ramulu torned his wife nighty and beat her.

Brutal Murder & Rape on a Dalit Family

    Mrs. Arayee (47) belonged to the Scheduled Caste is a resident of Vellamputhur village of Kandachipuram Block, Tirukovilur Taluk of Villupuram District is residing with her children Selvi (Name Changed) and son Samayan. Her husband Mr. Elumalai passed away five years ago due to illness and other ailments. She has 6 children Mr. Pandidurai (26), Mr. Sarath Kumar (22), Ms. Viji (18), Mr. Anjulatcham (17), Ms. Selvi (13) and Samayan (8).  Her son Pandi Durai got married to a girl named Mahalakshmi and living in Veerapandiyapuram. Presently Arayee is residing with her daughter Selvi and Samayan. She is the sole bread winner of the family and working as a daily labourer and taking care of her children.


    On 21.02.2018 (WednesdayArayee, her daughter Selvi and Samayan had gone for a function to Mahalakshmi’s home at Veerapandiyapuram and returned to their home by 4 pm. In the evening Selvi and Samayan had gone to Suganthi (neighbour) for watching television and had come back by 9 pm.


     The next day morning at about 6: 30 am Suganthi’s daughter and Arayee’s relative Ms. Snegha had come to Arayee’s home and found that the front door of the house was shut. They both found that red colour dye on three of them and rushed to Suganthi and told her the same. Immediately Suganthi, her daughter and Snegha came into the house and found Arayee, Selvi and Samayan lying in pool of bloodstains. The three of them screamed and shouted in agony and immediately the neighbours and the village people rushed to Ariaye’s house.


     The girl was smashed beyond recognition and was blood stains around her; her brother Samayan who lay next to her were eyes staring at the ceiling and her mother was severely injured at her head and her face similarly damaged. The villagers called and told about the incident to the Village Administrative Officer (VAO). Meanwhile the Arakandanallur Policemen, VAO and the 108 ambulance came to the spot and took the mother and the girl to Tirukovilur Government Hospital and then were taken to Mundiyampakkam Government Hospital. Later for further medical treatment they both were shifted to JIPMER Hospital, Pondicherry and were admitted as in patient in Intensive Care Unit.


     The boy Samayan died in the spot and with the help of Mr. Samikannu (relative of Arayee) he was taken to Mundiyampakkam Government Hospital in an Omni Van. The deceased boy was kept in mortuary and was taken to autopsy on 23.02.2018 at 2: 30 pm. Presently with a complaint lodged by Mr. Samikannu and a case was registered at the Arakandanallur Police Station with the crime number: 140/2018 u/s 449, 452, 302, 307 IPC on 22.02.2018.


    Presently the victim girl Selvi and her mother Arayee are in unconscious state and undergoing medical treatment at JIPMER hospital.

Abetment to commit suicide

    Saravanan (17) S/o of Mr. Sivakumar and Mrs. Sarawathi resident of Kamarajar Nagar, Andankoil Panchayat, Manmangalam Taluk of Karur District. He belonged to the Hindu Scheduled Caste (Sub Caste: Paraiyar) and he is studying 12th standard in St. Antony Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Karur District. His father is working in abroad and he has an younger brother named Povun (15).


    Saravanan had undergone continuous forms of caste discrimination from the school head master Mr. L.C. Joseph, Mrs. Jayanthi and Ms. Devi (Librarian). The school prinicipal and the two teachers verbally abused the boy by referring to his caste names and this affected the boy and he committed suicide on 23.01.2018 at 6 am in his home and a case was registered with the crime number: 77/2018 u/s 174 Crpc at Karur Police Station.

Caste Based Discrimination, Abused by caste name and threaten by Caste Hindu

    Rukumani (35)  resident of Gobichettipalayam came to her brother\'s house  located at Moonu Veedu Colony, Parisalthurai Street, Sathyamangalam of Erode District on10.02.2018 . She belonged to the Scheduled Caste. 


    Ms. Mythili (20)  (relative of Rukumani) along with her child was sitting in the corridor of Ms. Parveen\'s house. Mythili called Rukumani and told to sit near her in the Corridor. Immediately Parveen brought a bucket of water and poured in the corridor and  threatened  and verbally abused both the women in filthy language by referring to their caste names.
