Randai Sundhy aged 16 years, daughter of Ghana Sundhy of Chulia village under Kamakhyanagar police station limit of Dhenkanal district. She married to Motai Bodra (Peta) during   pregnancy he left her and went away from her. On 06/02/2015 she delivered a child and after the death of her child she become serious and admitted in the SCB Medical, Cuttack.

Randai was studying in class VIII at Baghamunda Seba Ashram School in the 2012. In June 2012 her father was died and she came from hostel for her father’s funeral rituals and did not return back to hostel and she stayed with her mother. Dasama Sundhy her mother was only the bread earner and worked as a maid in the local area. Due to the poor financial condition Randai did not return to the hostel and worked as a labour in the Dhenkanal Kengali Cenal construction work where she met Motai Bodra, who worked as a contractor in the same project. He proposed her to get marry. During the Durga puja they decided to live together and got married in their village. After living together for one year, she got pregnant and along with husband she came to her mother’s house and was staying there. Her husband went outside for searching of work and not returned back. On 06/02/2015 Randai delivered a immature child in her seventh month of pregnancy at her mother’s house and after 3 days of delivery her was died and she became serious and was lie down in the outside of her house. On the same day Mr. Lambodar Nayak husband of the Sarapancha visited Chulia village and suddenly he saw Randai and her new born child was lie down and nobody taking care of her. Her mother went for household work nearby villages. Immediately he took her to the Sub-divisional District Hospital of Kamakhyanagar and admitted her. Because of her serious condition doctor referred to the Dhenkanal District Medical for better treatment. On 12/2/2015 her mother went to Kamakhyanagar police station and lodged an FIR against Motai Bodra, after then Randai along with her mother went to Dhenkanal Hospital admitted there and she was under treatment for 3 days and doctor referred to the Cuttack SCB medical for further treatment and discharged her at evening time and advised them to go Cuttack by Ambulance but Randai refused to her mother not to go Cuttack for treatment and both of them returned to their village by hiring a cab. Again her health condition was serious so both of them went to Cuttack with the support of Lambodar Nayak and villagers. During the treatment Doctor found that her internal organs were functioning in opposite sides, this is a rare case to handle. In the Cuttack hospital she was neglected from proper treatment and on 27/02/2015 doctor discharged her after knowing that she was suffering from typhoid. She came back with her husband and mother to her home and after six days her mother in-law came and took her to their house. On 09/03/2015 Randai was died at her in-laws house and her dead body sent to hospital for post mortem.  Police arrested the accused Motai Bodra and forwarded to the court. 

Priyanka Priyadarsini Jena, aged about 10 years, daughter of Kedarnath Jena of Bhimabhoi Colony and Sanjukta Singh, aged about 10 years daughter of Ranjan Singh of Mundapada of Paradip Port colony under Paradip Police station limit of Jagatsinghapur district were raped by their Head Master, Kamal Lochan Biswal of Indira Gandhi Park Upper Primary School,  Paradip Port aged about  55 years  living nearby Kabar Khana colony, native of Brahmagiri block under the district of Puri.

The incident occurred at about 6:00 to 6:30 pm on Friday, 06.02.2015 during the notified one hour power cut. Priyanka and Sanjukta were attending tution class conducted by Head Master Kamal Lochan Biswal in the school premises from 5 to 7 PM in regular basis for around of 25 students of Upper Primary standard. On that day the accused Mr. Biswal called them to the 1^st floor of the school building after power cut. In a class room the victim girls were sitting in the bench for extra class the accused HM told them to come and sit near by him. Then Sanjukta went to the toilet and then HM called Priyanka to sit on his laps but she refused so he forcefully caught her and make sat on his private part, then forcefully opened Priyanka’s inner cloth and told her to lay down on the floor, again she refused but HM forcefully started to rape her. When she felt sever pain by the time Sanjukta entered in to the room. HM told to Sanjukta I will do the same thing with you. The HM did same thing with Sanjukta in front of Priyanka. The accused HM warned them not to disclose to anybody about this matter and they went to Priyanka’s house. He taught the lesion and went back to his house. On Monday 09/02/2015 when Sanjukta’s mother Lilima Singh asked her to go for Tution but she denied and her mother asked why you are denying to go tution. Then Sanjukta shared all the incident to her mother then went to Priyanka’s house to know the real matter. After knowing the incident she rushed to the police station and lodged FIR against HM Kamal Lochan Biswal on 10.02.2015. The Paradip Police started investigation on the case and recorded the statements of two victim girls. The children were taken to the Atharabanki Medical for examination and treatment. Based on the statement of two girls and evidences the police prepared a charge sheet and arrested the accused HM and forwarded to the Sub Divisional Judiciary Magistrate of Kujanga. The Sub Divisional Judiciary Magistrate of Kujanga rejected his bail petition and send to judicial custody.

The Vikas Jyoti Primary School is a Catholic church supported Missionary school, situated in Mundapada of Bargarh district. The school was established in the year 1995. It was a Primary Odiya medium school. Ms. Bimala Xaxa is the Head Mistress of the School Since 2002. The children from the nearby slums and colonies are studying in the School. The school comprises of 5 teachers including Head Mistress. Mr. Budhadeba Tripathy was the MIL teacher of the school. He used to sexually harass the eight girls and one boy from the school. After the class he used to call the students touched their private parts. When the children resisted, he used to threaten them by saying, he will rusticate them from the school or they will not get their school leaving certificate after passing out from the school.

On 14^th February 2015, Megha Gurla a student of the School shared the incidents with her mother. She also shared how he was threatening them.  After listening to her, Megha’s mother went to other student’s house and asked about the matter and all the 7 girls said the same thing that had happened to them. The parents of all these students went to Fr. Peter Decuna for complaining against Mr. Budhadeba Tripathy. After listening the whole matter Fr. Peter Decuna decided to suspend the teacher. The parents were happy with Father’s decision. On 16/2/2015 the parents of 9 students went to the Bargarh police station and lodged a FIR against the teacher. The police did the investigation. The police framed the charge sheet, arrested the teacher and forwarded to judicial custody.

Presently the accused is in the jail and his family members are waiting for the first trial. Now the girls are going to school and continuing their studies.

The parents were gone to Bargarh Police Station to collect FIR copy from the Investigation Officer, he was telling that they kept it in some file and not able to find out. Once we will found out we call you.
