N Annamma - Land dispute, Attack and caste abuse

    Details of the Case:

Annamma and her husband Yesobu are residents of Amruthaluru village.  They have two daughters and a son.  The daughters are married while the son discontinued M.A. and stays with them.   There is a large pit of 45 cents in front of their house and since it is a deep pit it was sold at low price to Annamma and Yesobu.  They purchased the pit long ago and slowly worked hard and filled it with their hard work.  Now it is turned into an even surface site which is looking good.  When it was a pit no one bothered, but now that it is levelled and looking good, evil thoughts to occupy it came to others, particularly, their neighbor, Mr. Kondapaneni Bhaskar Rao, belonging to Kamma caste.  He filed a case claiming ownership to that land and the court delivered judgment on 02-05-2018 that the land belongs to Yesobu.  On 18-03-2019 one advocate by name Sampath Siva Nageswara Rao along with 10 members of his caste came along with an unofficial surveyor to measure their land.  Daughters of Yesobu questioned them as to how they can make measurements without an official and without notice.  They shouted, abused and attacked the family of Yesobu in caste terms and said the land belongs to Kondapaneni Bhaskar Rao.  They said, they came with the orders of the court and don’t care anyone.  They said: “if anyone objects, we will throw them away” They attacked the daughters of Yesobu and said “push away these mala bitches” and dragged them forcibly.  They threatened: “you vacate this land or else we will burn your house along with you”.  When Yesobu approached the Amruthaluru police, they refused to register the case saying that the land dispute has been there since long and told Yesobu family to go to court.  Then Yesobu sent a written complaint to SI and CI by registered post.  Upon receipt of the written complaint, DSP visited the place and made enquiries.  The DSP was told by the villagers that the land belonged to Yesobu.  After ascertaining the facts, an F.I.R was registered.
