Aravindhan (20) S/o Durairaj reside at Karuvanur village, Kallavi post, Uthangarai Taluk, Krishanagir district in Tamil Nadu. He belongs to Scheduled caste, sub caste of ‘Kuravan’ Community. He is working as a welder at a private company in Bangalore. He came to his native village to participate at a temple festival on 02.03.2015. He invited his cushion brother to his village to Theru kuthu during temple festival.

Mr. Denesh received call from his friend, since he went to outside to speak, meanwhile group of caste hindu youths were asked him who are you? Where are you from?. Denesh replied that I am from chinnakanakan patti. They asked his caste he replied that Kuravan community. Suddenly they were attacked him. Denesh rushed in to Aravindhan and narrated the incident. Aravindhan went to that spot and asked why you beaten him. The caste hindu group got angry. They were severely beaten both of them. They were dragged aravindhan to mango forms and severely beaten and abused in filthy word. They were continued to beaten by stick, iron rod, belt. Aravindhan fell on the ground. When he asked for a glass of water, the man allegedly urinated in his mouth. Aravindhan got unconscious, since they dragged him and throwed near to toilet.

On next day he was rescued by his uncle. He was tried to admit in government hospital. But group of caste hindu were stop him and threatened to compromise the issue. He got more body pain, since he admitted at private hospital. He lodge the complaint in kallavi police station. 

Raj Kumar singh was contesting in the PACS election for the post of President. Raj Kumar asked Ravindra Paswan to vote him in the eletion but ravindra Paswan refused and said that he will vote to someone else. One day Raj Kumar called Ravindra Paswan at his house and offered him rupees 500 and asked for his vote, but Ravindra did not take the money and refused his offer.Shankar Paswan was also there at Raj Kumar\'s house when the conversation between Raj Kumar and Ravindra was going on. When Ravindra denied Raj Kumar\'s offer, Raj Kumar thretend him saying that he will have to pay the cost of his behavior in next two days. After two days, When Ravindra was having his dinner, Shankar Paswan and Raj Kumar came and dragged out Ravindra taking him in the field they shot him to death.

यह घटना जिला मंडी के दरंग विधान सभा क्षेत्र की है. जो कतोला के राजकीय माध्यामिक पाठशाला नेरी चाहल में पिछले कई वर्षो से गठित हो रही है. इस पाठशाला के एस एम् सी प्रधान ज्ञान चंद ने स्कुल में मीडे मिल में अनुसूचित जाति के बच्चों के साथ हो रहे अमानवीय जातिगत भेदभाव के खिलाफ आवाज बुलंद करते हुए स्कुल प्रशासन के खिलाफ पुलिस में शिकायत दर्ज करने के काफी सारे प्रयास किये मगर अंत 154 (3),156 (3) में प्राथमिकी दर्ज करवाई. इस स्कुल में कुल 46 बच्चों में से 14 बच्चे सम्मान्य जाति से हैं जो अनुसूचित जाति के बच्चो के साथ स्कुल में दोपहर भोजन व अन्य खान पान नहीं करते हैं. सारा मामला मीडिया में खूब प्रकाशित हुआ तब भी दोषियों के खिलाफ कोई भी ठोस कार्यवाही नहीं हुई. हालंकि जिला न्यायलय, जिला कल्याण अधिकारी जिला प्रशासन व DVMC के सदस्यों ने स्कुल में कई बार जाके देखा जो भेदभाव आज भी लगातार जारी है.
