The houses of Three Dalit families were arsoned and reduced to ashes by named accused persons with an intention to displace these hapless people from the government land. Being displaced by some influencial people from Kendrapada town, three dalit families opted to live in a government land at Nasidipur village and have been living there since last one year by making thached houses. However, these landless dalit families were again faced an anger of dominant caste people. As they tried to settle in a governmet land...the dominant caste people were become jelous of it. On 11.03.2015 at about 9.00 am the accused persons drunk and came to the spot, abused them with caste name and filthy language and threatened them to leave the place or they would set ablze the houses. On 12.03.2015, at about 1.00 am , they again came to the spot and set on fire the houses and fled away.

About 34 dalit families live in Sanagada village under Ranapur police station of Nayagarh district. Every year they celebrate Ganesh Puja followed by immersion ceremony of Lord Ganesh with a procession covering 7 hamlets of the village. On 6.09.2014, at about 9.00 PM, the Dalit communities were conducting immersion procession of Lord Ganesh. While the procession was passing through Kumbhar street, it was intentionally blocked by putting an auto on the middle of the road. While asked by the organizers to shift the auto to a side, the accused persons denied to shift the auto and said that the auto was out of order and could not be shifted. As a result, the procession was diverted to other direction. Meanwhile, few members of Dalit communities was passing by the Kumbhar Street, all of a sudden the members of Kumbhar communities abused them in filthy language and   by their caste name and told them “ How dare you to take procession in our street, you untouchable” and started beating them up with stick. The victims were severely got injured and became senseless. The matter was immediately informed to the police. The police sent the victim to Rananpur Hospital for treatment, however, the victims were further shifted to Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar.

Untouchability is strongly practiced in Sanagada village. In hotels, separate glasses are kept for dalits, In shops, the shopkeepers throw goods to the hands of dalit communities. Dalits are not allowed into the temple. Among dalit communities only three boys have passed matriculation and 6 persons are employed in government sector as fourth grade employee and majority of them earn the livelihood from daily labour and have no agriculture land.

On dated 9/3/15 at apprx:3.30 victim Krishna going to meet her relative Bimla at vill. Barsana by bus from kaithal.she was picked up by her relative satyawan from Patiyala chowk jind in jeep.Both was going to vill. Barsana yet satyawan returned to vill. Roopgargh to urgent work at jeep owner Balraj caste jaat.when they reached their but balraj not found their. When they trying to return,accused attack on satyawan from stick as well as broken the jeep.Then accused kidnapped to Krishna in his vehicle and went in field .All six accused Gang Raped to victim,in which one un identified. All accused were arrested.

दलित छात्र नेता किशोरी राम , सीतामढ़ी जिले के रीगा थाना क्षेत्र के रीगा टोले पिपरा ग्राम का निवासी था । उसकी उम्र करीब 30 वर्ष थी । वह अनु0जा0(चमार) का सदस्य था । उसके पिता का नाम बिगु राम है । किशोरी राम सीतामढ़ी गोयनका कॉलेज का स्नानात्कोतर का छात्र रहा था । अध्यन के साथ वः DHRD का भी कार्य करता था । दिनांक 13.04.2015 को किशोरी राम भवदेपुर चौक पर शिवमंदिर के पास सब्जी खरीदने गया था। उसी समय एक पल्सर बाइक पर सवार हथियार से लैस तीन आपराधी आये और सरेयाम किशोरी राम को गोलियों से भुन दाल और हवा में पिस्टल लहराते भाग निकले । हत्या की जिम्मेवारी आजाद हिन्द फ़ौज ने ली है । किसोरी राम आंबेडकर कल्याण छात्रावास का छात्रनायक भी था । छात्रावासी छात्रो ने किसोरी राम का शव को लेकर प्रदर्शन भी किया था जिसके चलते 200सौ छात्रो के खिलाफ सीतामढ़ी थाना में बेनामी प्राथामिकी भी दर्ज की गई है । उक्त मामले में पुलिसे की भूमिका संदेहास्पद है । किशोरी राम की हत्या के संम्बंध में सीतामढ़ी थाना काण्ड संख्या 278/15 के तहत प्राथमिकी दर्ज की गई है ।  मृतक के परिजन को कल्याण पदाधिकारी द्वारा 2,62000.00 एव कवीर अंत्येष्ठी योजना से 1500.00रूपये प्रदान किया गया है ।

              Padmini  Sethy is a second year nursing student staying in the hostel from last one year, was attempt to commit suicide on the date 09/02/2015 due to mental torture by Mrs. Puspa Panda senior student. Principal Mrs. Basanti Pand was gone for paper evaluation work to outside of the district and she has given the hostel charge to Pushpa Panda who is the secretary of the hostel in charge after the Principal.  On that day the kitchen care taker was late for two to three hours because of some personal work so Puspa Panda has taken initiative to form a group of 2 students from each room to clean the utensil (Vessels) which was use in the last night. Accordingly two students came from each room except Room-1 so Puspa called Padmini  Sethy to join in the group and help for cleaning of the utensil so that the cook can prepare the food within lunch break. But Prangya  refused to was the Utensils because she was ready to go for attending the class and If she will join with group to clean the utensils then she will miss the class. During this conversation Puspa scolded her by taking her caste name and the occupation. Padmini started crying and went to attend her respective class; on the way Principal asked to Padmini  why you are crying? what is the matter? she replied that Puspa Didi scolded me. Then she attended her class some of the friends were also tried to make herself understood but she was hurt and after one class she left the classroom and returned to the hostel. Because of frustration she consumed 6 Paracetamol tablets to commit suicide. After taking medicine she started to vomit and it was inform by her friend to principal that Padmini  was taken step to commit suicide. Immediately Principal came and started to drink her Patas water for the instant treatment then she was admitted in the Hospital for one day. Her Parents were informed and they came immediately and taken her to their house. After listing the incident her uncle Mr. Ranjit Kumar Sethy lodged an FIR against Mrs. Puspa Panda and Principal Mrs. Basanti Panda in the Kendrapada Police station. The police started investigation on the issue and not yet arrested the accused.
